| Air Force Academy is a census-designated place (CDP) in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. The CDP includes a large portion of the grounds of the United States Air Force Academy, including the cadet housing facilities. Completed in 1954 following the WW II, the Academy was
established about 150 years after West Point (for Army) and
about 100 years after Navy Academy. It was envisioned as a
National Monument and now became Air Force Academy Historic
District. The design for the campus is modern at the time,
especially the Chapel. I arrived coincide with the Sunday
Mass. The interior is so uplifting.
Catholic Mass service and other denominations (including Buddhism) at lower level.
Upper level, Protestant Sunday service.
